Remember Cheryl Hines who played the role of Larry David’s wide in ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’? well, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has bagged an unscripted show on popular DISH Network channel NBC.While ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ is a great show, it has years between seasons. It looks like someone is utilizing this time to move to some good work. It would be nice to watch Cheryl Hines once again on satellite TV.
The new satellite TV show on NBC is called School Pride. The show will feature communities coming together to restore old school facilities. The series on DISH TV will probably be similar to ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ that is shown on ABC. The executive producer of that show, Denise Cramsey, will executive produce this new satellite TV show with Hines. The brand new show is inspired by an activist group who fixed up school facilities in Compton, CA.
Hines is not an unknown name in the world of production and direction. She made her directorial debut with ‘Serious Moonlight’ in 2009. She also appeared on all seven seasons of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’. The show on DISH Network will return for season 8, which is scheduled to air sometime in 2011.
