Ghost Whisperer Disappears from Satellite TV

There is one sad news for satellite TV viewers and Jennifer Love Hewitt fans. ‘Ghost Whisperer’ the popular show on DISH Network is not coming back for a sixth season. And it’s official now! What? Yes you heard that right. It seems that, Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character Melissa Gordon in the satellite TV show, who has communicated with the deceased in order to help them complete unfinished business, finally came across a situation where she cannot help.

'Ghost Whisperer' is officially ending. The satellite TV series was a co-production between CBS Television and ABC Studios. The series was canceled by CBS earlier this spring. The show’s only hope was ABC. But that too has decided not to save the show.

Here's the full statement from executive producers Kim Moses and Ian Sander:

"After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce 'Ghost Whisperer' will not be returning for a sixth season. We've had an incredible experience and owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved. We continue our relationship with ABC Studios and look forward to developing many more successful projects together in the future."

The current trend of ending a series is to have a final movie or special event. Recently canceled 'Heroes' and 'Law & Order' are working on specials. While 24 is planning to make a movie. So will 'Ghost Whisperer' follow that path? We certainly hope so!

Though we have seen most of the series finales are generally clichéd and disappointing there is least chance of such boring finale for ‘Desperate Housewives’. Daily told the media people that there can be a few twists and turns in the final episode of the show.

Mike and Susan
Mike and Susan’s life will deal with a life changing decision. As you know that they are going through financial problems. This will take a toll on their marriage and will compel them to take some life-changing decisions. Daily said, "They're experiencing the economic woes that much of America is experiencing, and it's going to create issues in their marriage and it will lead them to make a life-changing decision in the finale."

Lynette’s Pregnancy
Lynette is pregnant and she will give birth to her child in a scary circumstance that is associated with the Fairview Strangler arc. According to Daily, "She's going to be getting closer and closer to the identity of the person who's been terrorizing the women of Fairview, and then give birth, like I said, under less than ideal circumstances."

Angie and Gaby
Angie will finally find a mate in Gaby and Gaby will end up being a confidante and will help Angie to get away from her past.

The Death
in the final episode of 'Desperate Housewives' we must get ready to see some big explosion. Though the reported house explosion idea is not going to take place, there can still be an explosion relating to the death of someone who has come to limelight this season.
